Kamal Azzaoui

Kamal has contributed to a large number of screening projects in term of data analysis, medicinal chemistry and cheminformatics support. He worked closely with Novartis scientists in order to develop software such HTS explorer, a tool for chemists that allows viewing and analysing data from hit lists. Beside the technical support, Kamal turned screening data into knowledge and helped to track false positives and assay artifacts. He strongly impacted many drug discovery projects by proposing weak hits or focused set of compounds, some of which become leads.
